HOW TO PROCEED with the 2020 Year 7 Admissions:
Every parent will receive a preference form from the Local Authority (LA).
It is vital that this form is completed and returned to your Local Authority by 31st October 2019.

We welcome pupils of families who do not reside in our catchment area and support families’ rights to request a ‘first choice’ school.  All our admissions must follow the criteria which are laid out in our Admissions Policy document (supplied below).  If you would like advice or any further information please contact the Principal’s PA, Mrs Karen Collett via email:

Parents wishing to apply for a place for year groups (other than those starting at the beginning of Year 7) are invited to visit the school by appointment and will need to apply for a place by completing the In Year Application Form which you can download – please see below.

The Cotswold School has a pupil admission of Year 7 of 245, Year 8 and Year 9 admission is 220. The Cotswold School is oversubscribed in all our Key Stage 3 Year Groups.

As at spring 2019:

245 pupils in Year 7
227 pupils in Year 8
222 pupils in Year 9

We will, of course, be happy to place any pupil application on our waiting list, if you should wish.
Please complete this form and return it to the Principal’s PA either by e-mail to: (preferred) or by post
