The Cotswold Teacher Training Partnership offers teacher training in both primary and secondary age groups. Trainees learn in local schools within our partnership on courses led by experienced teachers.
Our primary course placements are in schools such as Bourton-on-the-Water Primary School and other schools in the North Cotswold area.
Our secondary course placements are at The Cotswold School or one of our partners, such as Burford School and Chipping Campden School.
We are delighted to be able to offer teacher taster visits to our schools (primary and secondary). If you would like to see a school in action and get to know more about the day-to-day job, this is a great opportunity. You will be able to observe lessons, speak to current trainees and teachers and get answers to your questions about training, the career and anything else.
Primary courses are run in conjunction with the University of Gloucestershire. Secondary courses are in partnership with the Gloucestershire Initial Teacher Education Programme (GITEP) and with the University of Bristol. There are different entry requirements for each of these.
GITEP, the University of Gloucestershire, The University of Bristol and The Cotswold Teacher Training Programme are all committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all our trainees to share this commitment.
All applications are made through the Department for Education Teacher Training website. If you would like to know more about our courses or Taster Days please contact Ben Edwards (email@example.com) Please also contact us if you need help with your application.
